Notes for a Painting

Janet sometimes makes a thumbnail sketch of what will become a painting. Here is what she wrote about "Under Wraps": Some kind of blanket covering three connected figures, all gray. Dark spikes at the bottom keep the circular buttons closed, and dark shapes keep the blanket together.
It's about containing a sad situation -- in this case, siblings taking care of their dying mother (barely discernible on the brother's shoulder) and surrounding her with love. Drawn from life, if you want to know.
